Team Building: Economy, Support & Air

Balance opening damage, economy, support and coverage across six planning slots.

1. Start with a specific failure

Start with a specific failure. A difficult opening may demand different spending priorities from a run that reaches the final enemy comfortably. Write down what escapes and when. Choose the slot that addresses that problem. The team builder provides six slots for distinct profiles, so filling every slot with similar damage roles can leave an important weakness uncovered.

2. Separate opening cost from full investment

Separate opening cost from full investment. The deploy total sums selected placement costs, while the full upgrade total summarizes recorded investment. Neither number is a wave budget or spending schedule. Sketch your opening order separately: first damage, a response to the next threat, then later upgrades. A cheaper opening can make a costly late investment easier to reach.

3. Check air access at the right time

Check air access at the right time. A broad unit type does not completely describe when a unit can hit flying enemies. Read upgrade notes and compare them with the stage requirements. The planner warns when no explicit early air coverage is selected. Removing that warning is a roster check, not proof that placement or upgrade timing will succeed.

4. Make support earn its slot

Make support earn its slot. Ask which selected units benefit from a support effect, whether the effect reaches them, and what you give up by occupying that slot. Do not apply a conditional benefit to every unit. Economy also involves timing: resources invested into income are unavailable for immediate damage, so a failing opening may require a different order.

5. Save a baseline before experimenting

Save a baseline before experimenting. Save team stores selected profiles in your current browser. Copy share link puts the roster into a URL for keeping a baseline or discussing variations. These controls preserve units, not placements or battle results. Compare two rosters on the same stage and record the practical change before deciding which version works better.
